During Annual General Meetings members vote on an annual budget and a 3-year plan that directs funds toward specific projects and community events.
Here are a few of our accomplishments over the years:

Dog Bag Dispensers
Dog bag dispensers were installed in several locations. Thanks for cleaning up after your pets!
Entrance Flowers
Flowers flourished throughout our neighbourhood this year thanks to two very talented, dedicated horticultural enthusiasts.
Wet Paint
Garbage cans and benches were painted in 2020 as part of a regular maintenance plan.
Landscaping and Maintenance
A new landscaping and maintenance crew was hired in 2020. They did a great job!
Horticulturalist at Work
In 2019, horticultural services were retained to ensure seven gardens at Tory and Tegler Gate entrances, Taylor Close entrance to the park, around the gazebo, stream and pond, remained healthy and beautiful.
Painted Fixtures
Based on Epcor's and the City's recommendations, sign posts, sidewalk gates and electrical boxes were carefully painted throughout the neighbourhood.
Area Refurbishment
Big equipment and little hands were employed to refurbish areas along the stream and common sidewalks in our community.
Traffic Lights
Based on our community input, the City installed traffic lights on Rabbit Hill Road, making it safer for pedestrians and motorists.
Pond Fountains
In 2018, the electrical system was replaced to support both fountains and a new aeration system. The aeration system will help oxygenate the pond which, in turn, will reduce the growth of algae.
10-Year Plan
TGHA Board members developed a 10-year plan with a vision of being one of the most desirable places to live in the City of Edmonton. This 10-year plan guides shorter 3-year plans that are discussed and voted upon by all members during the Annual General Meeting.
Entrances
Entrances at Tory and Tegler Gates were refurbished with the help of Salisbury landscapers and steps were taken to promote successful growth of this new foliage.
TGHA Stream
TGHA regularly repairs and maintains common areas and features within our community. For example, in 2018 piping at the head of the stream broke and caused considerable flooding. Thanks to the quick actions of homeowners and the Board, the stream was fixed and operating again within 48 hours.
TELUS Project
In 2017, TELUS installed pure fibre optic cables throughout our neighbourhood. TGHA worked closely with the company to minimize disturbance and damage and even hosted a summer kick-off event together during which neighbours visited, ate and played and had a chance to ask questions about the project.
City Partners
The City of Edmonton responded to dozens of requests made by the TGHA on behalf of homeowners. Requests ranged from removing trees to repairing roads.
TGHA Guide
To support communications among members, TGHA produced and distributed a guide that offers lots of information about our properties, association and community services.
Map
TGHA invests collected dues back into our community. As a result of a vote by members in 2017, some of those dues helped support development of the South Terwillegar Park in 2018.
