The Centre features a senior's lounge, 4 NHL-sized hockey rinks with 20 dressing rooms, an indoor playground, commercial retailers, a fitness centre and walking/jogging track, flexi-hall, birthday party rooms, and three gymnasiums.
splash in Terwillegar Recreation Centre's salt water swimming pool featuring swimming lanes, wave pool with spray features, whirlpool, lazy river and waterslide, tot pool with ramp access and a steam room. There is something for all ages and abilities.
find your fit, sign up for professional fitness services, create an adventure, or check out events at local recreation and leisure centres or in the river valley. Summer camps and educational courses are also available through groups such as the University of Alberta, Telus World of Science, City Arts Centre and Metro Continuing Education focused on academic success, English language classes and adult education.

Edmonton public school Esther Starkman offers kindergarten to grade 9; Edmonton Catholic school Monsignor William Irwin offers kindergarten to grade 6; Lillian Osborne Senior High School offers grades 10 to 12; and Archbishop Joseph MacNeil School offers grades 7 to 8. New schools are being built in the area to accommodate our growth.

TCL encourages a safe, friendly, and active neighbourhood by offering community-wide social events and activities, running a community garden; communicating with local governing bodies including TGHA; and fundraising for parks and playgrounds. learn about neighbourhood events through the City's Share Edmonton program. One successful event is the Southwest Edmonton Farmers' Market held Wednesday's from 4:30pm to 7:30pm in the south parking lot of the Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre (2051 Leger Road). It is a not-for-profit, volunteer run organization that connects local farmers, producers and artisans who provide fresh, locally grown and made food and hand-made goods with our citizens.

Devonshire Village for seniors is an important member of our neighbourhood. Contact Devonshire at (780) 433-1395 to volunteer your time or learn about the services offered to senior residents.

discover neighbourhood parks, picnic sites, river valley parks, off-leash areas, and trail systems or a variety of river valley activities including fishing, boating/canoeing, photography, disc golfing, dog walking, bird watching, golfing, geocaching/orienteering, skiing, skating, snowshoeing, tobogganing, running/jogging, and even memorable places to hold a wedding.
canoe down the river at Terwillegar Park about 4 kilometers from our neighbourhood. Terwillegar Park offers natural and paved walking, running, and cycling trails, scenic boating on the river, and an opportunity to let your dog run around in the off-leash area. Turn to nearby Blackmud Creek or Mactaggart Sanctuary, both within walking distance, for a peaceful stroll through the woods along the stream.
appreciate local food, services, products, and more offered by the Shoppes of Terwillegar Gardens, Market at Magrath, Terwillegar Heights Towne Square, and other Terwillegar retailers situated along Rabbit Hill Road or 23rd Avenue. Most of these establishments are within walking distance from your doorstep.
